Migrants from Goa arrived in Mangalore ever since the 1500s and major influx took place around the end of 1700, and brought with them, their music and cuisine, tradtions and customs which lasted till 1947 when Mangaloreans spread all over the county and the globe.   Today they are truly a global  community.   As time trudges on, Mangaloreans have begun to blend with others and the spectrum is getting ever broader by the day.
